Barefoot Halloween Stories

Hi everyone, this is Sharleen. How's it going? Are you still barefoot or is it too cold already where you live? I'm lucky to live in Hawaii where I can go barefoot all year. Well, spooky season is upon us once again. Over the years I've written a few barefoot Halloween stories  (yeah, barefooting and Halloween are a couple of things I really love), and I thought I would compile them on this page so it would be easier for you to find them. Most of them are posted in my other blog (the scary stories blog ). So I'll just briefly describe and link them here. Barefoot weekend and Christmas shopping with Lynn

by Tania WL There's something magical about slipping off your shoes and letting the earth connect with you. That's what I do everyday after work. But this past weekend was extra special: I wasn't doing it alone. I got to spend the entire weekend and go Christmas shopping barefoot with my little sister Sharleen (a.k.a. Lynn). Hi everyone, this is Tania, Lynn's big sister. I used to post on this blog back in the day, but since I started working I got pretty busy and decided to let Lynn take over. But she said I should write this post for old time's sake. So here I am. Unfortunately, I have to wear shoes to work. But in my office I usually take them off. Sometimes I even walk to the break room barefoot which is ok as long as my manager doesn't see me. One time I got caught, but luckily my manager and I get along quite well, so she just glared at me and my bare feet without saying a word. Barefoot in public restrooms

by sharleen wl a while back there was a post on reddit by a guy who said he was getting more and more comfortable going barefoot in public. he had gone barefoot to grocery stores multiple times and also to gas stations. but one day he saw another person walking barefoot into a gas station restroom and he thought it was gross and said he couldn't bring himself to do that. so he was asking whether he was right thinking that way. some say there's alot of "ick factor" in going barefoot in public restrooms. so its more like psychological as there's nothing really harmful on whatever you might step on on the floor as long as your sole skin is intact. others say it is indeed gross but you can wash your feet once you get home or you can carry some wet wipes. i had to chime in so this is what i basically said. "its more of a personal choice. like some people (like myself) love walking on mud but others not so much. some love squishing bugs with their bare soles while...

Barefoot shopping at the mall with mom

a barefoot girl's story going shopping with her strict religious mom by sharleen wl hi everyone, how's it going? this is a rather long post but a pretty fun story. so i want you to get comfortable. get your favorite drink, maybe play some soft music, be barefooted (if you aren't already), take off all your clo... oops,  i'm getting carried away. i mean, you don't have to do that. unless your like me of course, lol. anyway, relax and enjoy! my dad is away on a business trip and my mom is home alone. so yesterday she called me and asked if i would wanna go shopping at the mall with her today (saturday). i love shopping so i said sure. she knows that i'm a barefooter and has kinda accepted the fact, so going barefoot to the mall with her shouldn't be an issue. i wake up a little earlier this morning cuz i wanna eat breakfast before going shopping. need the extra energy. the temperature this morning is 61 F which is cold for hawaii. i slept with my windows clos...
