Do you like feet?

Image
WARNING: this post is intended for mature readers. if you're under 18 please find another post to read .  by sharleen wl  clean feet or dirty feet? what about stinky feet? <giggles> i feel kinda naughty asking these questions. i've met plenty of guys online and in real life who are into feet, and they particularly like girl's dirty feet. ya, this is mostly a guy thing although there are a few girls who also like feet. i'm not one of them although i admit feet can be attractive just like any other part of your body like your eyes, nose, lips, and even hands. but to me attractive feet are clean ones.  i used to prefer having clean feet, especially during my early barefooting days when i was still living with my parents. part of it was due to the influence of my mom who is a clean freak and told me to wash my feet every time prior to entering the house, but also like i said earlier clean feet are more attractive (to me at least). today i no longer care as much. i le...

Barefoot weekend and Christmas shopping with Lynn

Image
by Tania WL There's something magical about slipping off your shoes and letting the earth connect with you. That's what I do everyday after work. But this past weekend was extra special: I wasn't doing it alone. I got to spend the entire weekend and go Christmas shopping barefoot with my little sister Sharleen (a.k.a. Lynn). Hi everyone, this is Tania, Lynn's big sister. I used to post on this blog back in the day, but since I started working I got pretty busy and decided to let Lynn take over. But she said I should write this post for old time's sake. So here I am. Unfortunately, I have to wear shoes to work. But in my office I usually take them off. Sometimes I even walk to the break room barefoot which is ok as long as my manager doesn't see me. One time I got caught, but luckily my manager and I get along quite well, so she just glared at me and my bare feet without saying a word. I giggled and was like, "Sorry, I was just getting a cup of coffee,"...

Fun barefoot weekend with family

by sharleen wl so last weekend my family decided to get together at my parents' house. i was excited cuz although we live on the same island, i very seldom get to see everyone. i got off work a little early on friday like around 4 pm. as i got to my apartment i immediately changed into my favorite attire - a tank top and ripped jeans shorts and got ready to leave. there wasn't much to pack as i would be wearing the same clothes the whole weekend. so all i brought were toiletries, my phone and charger, and some stuff for my parents and siblings which i put in my backpack. i didn't even bring any footwear since i was going to be barefoot the entire time. dad had offered to pick me up but i decided to take the bus instead. it's actually more fun. seriously. i love riding the bus barefoot. i put on my new pair of nerdy glasses (ya, i started wearing glasses like a month ago) and walked to the bus stop. a nerdy look and bare feet are the bomb, lol. while i was sitting at the...

Barefoot in Seattle

Image
by sharleen wl I had previously heard that Seattle was a barefoot friendly city, so I was excited when I had the chance to prove it for myself early last summer. My girlfriend Sandra and I were going on a cruise to Alaska leaving from Seattle. As you know from one of my previous posts ( barefoot thanksgiving break ) I'm bi, and Sandra who was my childhood best friend, is lesbian. Anyway, we were planning to stay in Seattle for a day before the cruise, and we already booked a hotel. It was a quaint little waterfront hotel, and we were lucky to get an ocean view so that we could watch ships pass by. Sandra has relatives in Seattle whom she wanted to spend some time with, so she flew in a day earlier. After being denied boarding barefoot on my trip to Houston the year before ( barefoot thanksgiving break ), I didn't bother trying it this time. I just put on flip flops to board, and took them off again once I was on the plane. I deplaned in Seattle and walked around the airport...

Barefoot Thanksgiving break

Image
by Sharleen (Lynn) WL Last year over Thanksgiving break I visited my best friend Sandra (who is also my girlfriend now) in Houston where she goes to school. Yeah, I'm bi and she's lesbian, so after I broke up with my last boyfriend, Sandra and I developed a romantic relationship. Its been great cuz we both have alot of things in common including the love of going barefoot. What kinda sucks is she had to move to Houston. Anyway, I flew to Houston a couple days before Thanksgiving. I was planning to do it entirely barefoot like I did when I was a kid (you can read the story here on the blog if you haven't already - its titled "Traveling Barefoot"), but unfortunately at the gate I was told to put shoes on. So I just wore my flip flops which I put in my backpack. The staff was nice about it though, he just looked at me and smiled. Once I got on the plane I took 'em off again. I walked out of the plane barefoot in Houston, and no one said anything. Sandra pic...

Barefoot Sisters

Image
I am the 3rd child in our family of 5 children. It's interesting that the ones who have any interest in barefooting at all are the girls (although I was the only avid barefooter in the beginning, and the most rebellious). I would go barefoot just about every chance I had, to my mom's dismay. barefoot sisters My big sister Debbie would go barefoot in public every once in a while when she was "in the mood" for it. My little sister Sharleen (a.k.a. Lynn) was a barefooter at heart as she said she enjoyed the feeling of her soles touching the different surfaces, but she didn't like getting her feet dirty, so her barefooting was initially limited around the house. My oldest and youngest brothers (Steve and Kevin) have zero interest in going barefoot. One day Debbie and I (she was 16, and I was 12) conspired to do something pretty crazy. We were going to shop at the mall, and Debbie was in the mood to go barefoot. Both our younger siblings (Lynn, 9 and Kevin, 8...
