aloha everyone! this is sharleen with a little update. how's it going? things are improving here in hawaii and i hope its the same where you are. just hang in there, everything will get better. i'm now working 2 regular jobs - at the souvenir shop and the restaurant. the souvenir shop cut their hours, so i work there during the day, and at the restaurant in the evening. but since people are now eating inside again, they no longer allow me to work barefoot. oh well! it was nice while it lasted, and hey, it could be alot worse, so i'm not complaining. oh, and i still work at the tanaka's on weekends too (barefoot). so yeah, they all keep me busy. i'll post a more detailed update soon, but now i'd like to tell you about a new horror story that i just posted to my story blog. its based on an actual experience when i was a college student going barefoot to school and everything. you see, because i love going barefoot, i've met quite a number of guys with foot fet...

Another barefoot girl college student story by sharleen wl It was 4 years ago that I wrote "A day in the life of a barefoot college student" so you may be wondering why I'm still in school. Did I continue on to graduate school? Nope. I should've graduated at the end of last spring, but I have to retake a few courses and do some extra work before I can graduate. People tell me I'm too much of a free spirit, a wild child. I really love life, and I guess I've been enjoying it a little too much, and now I'm paying the price. Needless to say my parents aren't happy and they have been giving me shit about it. But hey, at least I didn't quit or flunk out (yet), right? One of my friends is wearing shoes and the other flip flops. It really feels great walking around campus in bare feet. As we get to the building, both my friends head towards the restroom and tell me they'll see me in class since I don't need to go. So I climb up the stairs to the 3rd floor where our classroom is. A barefoot girl story by Sharleen WL I just started college a few months ago and so far I'm loving it. There is so much more freedom than in high school and not the least is the ability to go to school barefoot. This article is an account of a typical Monday. Unlike many people, I love Mondays coz to me its the start of a brand new week full of opportunities, a new chapter in my book of life ready to be filled with exciting experiences and adventures. Its 7am and I wake up feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep. Actually I'm having a bad cold, so my nose is pretty stuffy but I feel rested nontheless and excited about the day ahead. by Tania WL I'm a college student, and I go barefoot to school on most days. The only days I wear flip flops are when I have yoga class (which is on Tuesdays and Fridays) as we have to have clean feet. Yeah, my feet get pretty dirty by the end of the day from walking around campus. I love our college library as it's a great place to study and to rest. They have benches with soft cushions where you can lie down and relax or even sleep. I often take a power nap in between classes in the afternoon which is great cos when I wake up I feel really refreshed, especially when I've been burning the midnight oil. One day I was doing just that. I was lying down on one of the benches taking a nap with my dirty bare feet hanging over the edge for everyone who passed by to see.
