antiques

besides the mall, i also like to shop around my neighborhood. i love antiques, and although i can't afford to buy most of them, i enjoy looking at them a lot especially if i can do it while barefoot. there's a couple of antique stores near where i live and i've seen others go in there barefoot as well.

i love visiting antique stores. there's a certain mystique surrounding antique objects. not too long ago i visited an antique store in my neighborhood, and the girl who attended it was barefoot. i thought, wow, that's cool!

It was also quite prevalent in the US in the old days. A few elementary schools in Hawaii still allow their students to attend school in bare feet.
